Making farming and food systems in the global South more resilient to climate change
Based on a collective work by almost 150 authors, CIRAD scientists and their partners propose tackling the challenge of adapting the world’s agrifood systems to climate change, and of mitigating that change. To this end, they have identified three main categories of solutions:
- Innovating in terms of farming and varietal breeding practices
- Working with natural resources
- Improving and accelerating climate action
