CIRAD works in many fields relating to climate change, integrated rural development and its adaptation to climate change (PACTE project), water management (particularly within the framework of the Water and Territories in North Africa platform in partnership for research and training and the MASSIRE project on water and rural innovation); animal health (Mediterranean Animal Health Network, emerging diseases); livestock farming and agro-pastoral systems management, in particular adaptation to climate change, and camel rearing; and fruit trees.
