Pl@ntNet
Pl@ntNet is a participatory science platform that enables users to dentify plants from their photos. It is part of the Floris’Tic initiative.
The Pl@ntNet platform, initiated in 2009 with the support of Agropolis Fondation, is a web and mobile participatory science platform. It aims to facilitate pooling and exchange of and access to botanical information, and uses the latest computer-assisted learning technology. In addition to the mobile app, the Pl@ntNet platform has built one of the most comprehensive plant datasets and networks in the world.
