2026 Paris International Agricultural Show

Catch up with CIRAD and the Agence française de développement (AFD) at the Paris International Agricultural Show, on their stand on the topic of "Pastoralism, a living asset for the planet".

From 21 February to 1 March 2026, CIRAD and the Agence française de développement will once again have a joint stand at the Paris International Agricultural Show. This year, the two organisations working for development in tropical and Mediterranean countries are devoting their stand to pastoralism, and specifically "Pastoralism, a living asset for the planet".

See you in Hall 5, aisle B, stand 33

An educational but fun stand for everyone

At this 62nd Paris International Agricultural Show and to mark the year of Rangelands and Pastoralists, CIRAD and AFD invite you to find out more about pastoralism.
A packed programme will include a VR experience, a quiz and games, and interactive features, along with a chance to meet and talk to researchers working on these topics.

A space to receive and talk with professionals

In terms of professional meetings, CIRAD and AFD will receive partners and institutional and political representatives from all horizons on the stand, to talk about pastoralism and the central role rangelands and pastoralists play in the ecological transition and in building sustainable food systems.

A conference and a series of side events

During the Show, there will also be a conference and a series of side events (in French) about pastoralism and its links with food systems, climate change and the agroecological transition in particular.
