GLF Africa 2026: Rangelands
This hybrid conference will look in particular at rangeland health, the rangeland economy, and land governance. With the participation of CIRAD.
To mark its 40 years of impact in partnership in the fields of agriculture, the environment and health, CIRAD is organizing a conference entitled « Nourrir 10 milliards d’habitants en 2050 : défis et solutions » (Feeding 10 billion people by 2050: challenges and solutions). The event, which is by invitation only, will bring together CIRAD's institutional partners.
At the conference, the Directors of CIRAD's three scientific departments, along with the Chair of the Programme Committee of one of those departments, members of CIRAD's Science Council and international political players will be contributing to the debate on how to tackle the challenges of providing healthy food to a global population of 10 billion by 2050, against a backdrop of climate change and increasing numbers of crises .
