Amazon Dialogues

The Amazon Dialogues will be held in Belém, Pará state, Brazil, ahead of the Amazon Summit. With the participation of CIRAD.

The Amazon Dialogues will take place ahead of the Amazon Summit on 8 and 9 August. They are intended to foster cooperation between Amazon countries and other partners in favour of sustainable development and other programmes relating to the region.
The Amazon Dialogues, from 4 to 6 August 2023, will comprise plenary sessions (organized by the federal government, with extensive civil society participation) and workshops organized by representatives of civil society, universities, research centres and government bodies.
