COP15 of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification

The fifteenth session of the Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification is being held from 9 to 20 May in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The chosen theme, " Land. Life. Legacy: From scarcity to prosperity ", is a call to action to ensure land, the lifeline on this planet, continues to benefit present and future generations. The decisions adopted by the 197 parties are expected to galvanize sustainable solutions for land restoration and drought resilience. CIRAD researchers are participating in several COP15 side events.
