Soil functioning and health in West Africa: Sol AfricaO - Sol AfricaO

How can we understand, manage and use the soils of West Africa in a more sustainable way?

Sol AfricaO is an initiative covering several aspects of soil research, from soil carbon to plant health and the nutritional quality of foodstuffs, in conjunction with soil health.

The network aims to develop digital mapping tools, open-access databases, joint training initiatives and co-authored scientific publications. The goal is clear: to establish soil as a shared scientific and strategic resource at the heart of rural transitions in West Africa.
