Building strategic partnerships is fundamentally important for CIRAD: research in partnership is a source of synergies between science and cooperation with tropical and Mediterranean countries, open to a wide range of stakeholders.
CIRAD’s researchers are heavily involved in PhD and post-doc training. CIRAD has close links with doctoral schools at higher education establishments in tropical and Mediterranean countries and in France. Training through research lies at the heart of our remit.
CIRAD works as a network catalyst, in particular through its platforms in partnership for research and training (dPs).
CIRAD is fully involved in training French and foreign young scientists and students.
From its regional offices, CIRAD conducts joint operations with more than 100 countries.
