Information for food security - ISA

What kind of information and sharing and support mechanisms are required for public policy makers, particularly in order to address food insecurity in West Africa?

Food insecurity affects vulnerable people in both rural and urban areas. It depends on the accessibility of food goods (which itself depends on agricultural output), climate risks, market functioning and consumer income levels. More detailed, precise and better quality data on a territorial scale will make it possible to inform those in charge of drafting and implementing public policy on food insecurity.
