CIRAD is heavily involved in training students and junior researchers from France and abroad. It contributes to PhD and Masters-level courses and works to build the skills of its scientific partners by receiving their researchers and providing them with professional training.
Training for research is of particular importance given CIRAD's mandate. It is a lever in CIRAD's partnership strategy as it helps build research capacity in developing countries.
Partnerships with the higher education sector and scientific mobility are the top priorities for CIRAD in terms of training for research, with the emphasis placed on PhD and Masters- level training.
CIRAD's research teams also pass on their knowledge and know-how through specific training courses, either targeted at researchers or open to a wider audience of specialists.
