CORMAS is a programming environment that can be used to construct multi-agent simulation models.

It was particularly designed for modelling renewable resource management. Thus, it can describe how individuals or groups using common resources are coordinated.

MIMOSA is a generic platform for modeling and simulation. Modeling deals with the representation of both the environment and the social structures, and their dynamics, using an extensible variety of formalisms. The platform aims at covering the whole modeling cycle from the conceptual models up to the results exploitation, through the instanciation of the conceptual models in concrete models, the initialization, the simulation and the visualization.

The MIMOSA platforms lies on the collective thoughts of the working group MIMOSA in the framework of the GdR I3 . It is a successor of CORMAS whose most functionalities will be implemented soon.

The software can be downloaded with its documentation (user's manuel and programmer's manuel) and some examples on http ://sourceforge.net/projects/mimosa .
