Training courses

Each year, the unit organises numerous training courses on simulation and modelling as support tools for collective decision-making processes concerning natural resource management. Some are conducted in association with INRA and CEMAGREF.

Perfecting modelling with Cormas

The aim is to ensure that trainees are able to use the simulation platform.

Introduction to multi-agent systems applied to the problems of simulation and renewable resource management

This course provides an introduction to the process of knowledge representation: Multi-Agent Systems. When this process is applied to renewable resource management, it is possible to simulate modes of communication between individuals and groups that use common resources.

Role playing games

This course was originally designed jointly by scientists from INRA, CEMAGREF and CIRAD, in the form of a scientific school that set out to explain the position, methodology and conditions for applying role play as part of an approach to support territorial and environmental decision-making.

• Use of role playing games in companion modelling
