Our values

CIRAD's operations centre on a certain number of values, which determine its choices and guide its approach. These values enable it to produce, transmit and evolve while respecting past achievements, the value of experience and the steadfastness of expertise .

Sharing

A fundamental value for CIRAD. Each and every one of its operations fits into programmes conducted jointly with partners working for development in the South.

Research quality

A constant concern if we are to make an effective contribution to tomorrow's agriculture: generating, sharing and passing on knowledge. A process aimed at excellence.

Opening up

Every member of CIRAD's staff is required to cross borders, be they geographical, cultural, scientific or disciplinary. Once they are aware of a need, they use a range of approaches and work to put the issues in perspective.

A commitment to development

A fundamental objective towards which the whole of the organization is working.
