A reception, training and teaching facility

The Montpellier centre receives students and researchers from all over the world looking for initial or refresher courses or to familiarize themselves with the latest techniques.

Agropolis International, an exceptional scientific environment

By virtue of its location on a global agricultural research for development campus, the Montpellier centre benefits from an exceptional scientific environment. CIRAD is a member of Agropolis Fondation and Agropolis International, forums for exchange and debate in which scientists from France and abroad can share their knowledge and ideas.

A strong presence in the Languedoc-Roussillon region

The Montpellier centre also participates in the scientific, economic and cultural life of the region, in relation with the local authorities (the Languedoc-Roussillon Regional Council, the Hérault Departmental Council, the Montpellier Conurbation and the Montpellier City Council), associations, farmers and industrialists.
