In East and southern Africa, CIRAD and its partners are working to support public policy, design tools and methods for managing agrosystems and the environment sustainably, and boost agricultural product quality and animal health, in relation with human health.

  • Burundi, Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania

A few details

Around twenty researchers, including 15 in southern Africa. Almost twenty PhD and thirty Masters students and African and French engineering students received each year. More than thirty research projects. Some 1000 days of missions per year, by researchers from mainland France or Réunion.
