A special issue of the Revue d’élevage et de Médecine Vétérinaire des pays tropicaux , on the dairy supply chain in developing countries, is now available on line.
This special issue of the Revue d’élevage et de Médecine Vétérinaire des pays tropicaux covers three essential aspects of dairy development. The first part looks at supply chain studies and market analyses. The second is a compilation of studies on dairy production system organization and operations, while the last discusses the political steps required to support dairy sector development. This overview highlights the range of possible development patterns and the transverse nature of the related research topics. The work covered also shows the importance of promoting technical and institutional solutions tailored to each situation.
This special issue contains 20 original articles, 6 thesis synopses, and a synthesis, and documents that provide a picture of the current situation in the different supply chains in developing countries, and their prospects. The full content of the journal is available on line in PDF format.
