Voluntary service

Every year, CIRAD accepts applicants for two types of voluntary service, Volontariat international en entreprise (VIE), and Volontariat civil à l'aide technique (VCAT).

Conditions

  • You must be French or from another EU-member state or a country belonging to the European Economic Area
  • You must be over 18 and under 28 years old (inclusive)
  • You must not have had your civic rights revoked by a court or have been convicted of certain offences

How to apply

  • Write to the relevant ministry:
    • VIE: CIRAD is allocated over ten posts each year. Ministère des affaires étrangères (Ministry for Foreign Affairs). http://www.civiweb.com/
    • VCAT: CIRAD is allocated around forty posts each year. Ministère de l'outre-mer (Ministry for Overseas Departments and Territories). http://www.outre-mer.gouv.fr/
