An automatic device for assessing cotton stickiness caused by honeydew deposits on the fibre, by thermodetection.
Upstream of the cotton industry, the H2SD is used to help establish stickiness monitoring strategies for producer regions, and to separate sticky and non-sticky bales. Downstream, spinners can use it to manage supplies more efficiently and to mix cottons so as to reduce spinning problems caused by stickiness.
Diagnosis, training, maintenance, support.
Product patented.
The H2SD is distributed by SYDEL SA (France).
