AGRIFILTRE®, effluent treatment
AGRIFILTRE® is a liquid effluent pre-treatment process by filtration.
Effluent is filtered through a straw bed in reverse flow. This produces filtered effluent and pre-compost, which can be composted to make an excellent organo-mineral fertilizer.
Features
- The process uses 15 kg of straw to treat 1 m3 of pig slurry.
- Efficient separation of solid and liquid phases, with no sludge produced.
- Agricultural applications for compost.
- Validation of the process by the Loire-Brittany Water Board in 2001 (pig slurry treatment).
